Administrative Assistant Internship, Cape Town (open)

Cenfri is looking for a candidate with intermediate experience in MS Excel, a passion for administration and a willingness to learn by being part of our Finance team. This is a 3 month opportunity with the possibility of further engagement.

 

This job will need you to:

  • Maintain and align data tables (excel) with Kontos (timekeeping and billing system) codes and Pastel (accounting software) codes
  • Organise and prepare monthly invoice and cost data to be imported into Kontos
  • Update charge-out tables
  • Extract timesheets from Kontos and to prepare related pivot tables
  • Extract and summarise direct costs from Pastel to use in Excel funder reports
  • Create journals in a CSV format for invoices and expense claims to be imported into Pastel
  • Gather FSDA receipts with a view to reconciliation (this involves large amounts of scanning)
  • Double check expense claims
  • Capture historical data on Kontos
  • Other general administrative tasks may be required to be executed 

 

Requirements for the role:

  • Intermediate MS Excel experience (Pivot tables, concatenating, vlookup, text to columns)
  • Solid numerical ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organising skills
  • Methodical approach to tasks
