Programme in Microinsurance Business Strategies for African Markets (2011)

USB Executive Development (USB-ED) in collaboration with the Centre for Financial Regulation and Inclusion (Cenfri) presents a Programme in Microinsurance Business Strategies for African Markets (26-29 July 2011, Cape Town) that will provide participants with a thorough understanding of microinsurance issues and business strategies for African markets. Global financial leaders tackle the challenge of creating inclusive financial systems (2010)

New technologies such as mobile phones are transforming the landscape of retail financial services.   New, non-financial services players such as mobile phone operators are entering the payment service business and extending access to financial services to people not previously reached by banks. There has been much growth of mobile-based financial services globally in recent years. Financial Inclusion in Mozambique (2010)

Finmark Trust participated in an exposure visit conducted by Cenfri to Maputo, Mozambique from the 15th to the 17th of September 2010. Microinsurance policy imperatives - the evidence so far (2010)

Cenfri made a presentation on microinsurance policy imperatives at the Financial Stability Institute’s meeting on microinsurance in Basel (6-8 July 2010). The meeting was hosted in collaboration with the Access to Insurance Initiative (click here to read more) and attended by an audience of supervisors from 21 developing countries.
