Karien Scribante


Karien joined Cenfri as a research intern in October 2019 and is now a junior research assistant on the risk team, which concentrates on reducing financial risk and building resilience in lower-income markets. Her research to date includes enabling remittance-linked insurance and the impact of COVID-19 on insurance regulators across sub-Saharan Africa. She is currently completing her master’s degree, focussing on the impact of COVID-19 on the sustainable development priorities of national governments.
