Kinyanjui Mungai


Dr Kinyanjui Mungai is an Associate currently working in the Rwanda Economy Digitalisation Programme where he focuses on research and data analysis to support the Government of Rwanda in making data-driven decisions. Beyond the programme, his work at Cenfri has focused on several payments- and digitalisation-related projects including two studies on the potential for CBDC, a Pacific Island Digital Identity Diagnostic and the Eswatini National Payments Vision and Strategy. Kinyanjui is enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact on the African content through collaborating with fellow impact catalysts.

Qualifications
  • PhD in Economics with a focus on financial inclusion, the University of the Western Cape
  • M.Com in Economics, the University of the Western Cape
  • B.Com Honours in Economics, the University of the Western Cape
