Our work at Cenfri rarely follows the typical rhythms of the calendar year, yet, as 2024 draws to a close, we thought it would be good to reflect on what we’ve achieved. It’s been a busy few months: we’ve worked on around 50 projects and undertaken work-related travel to 19 countries. We are grateful for the many opportunities afforded to us this year to refine our expertise, delve deeper into existing areas of work, and explore new ground alongside new funders and partners.

The publication that follows offers a glimpse into our flagship projects, a few of the insights we’ve gained, and the challenges we’re eager to tackle in the coming months. If you are reading this at a later date, please don’t be put off by the reference to 2024 in the title. This is not only a recap of the past year, but a roundup of 7 interesting lessons that will remain relevant for the foreseeable future.
