Shivaan is a data scientist with experience in developing data-driven solutions across sectors such as telecommunications, fraud and forensics, cybersecurity, and IT governance. He has a strong interest in data science practices including anomaly detection, pattern recognition, user and entity behaviour analytics, and generative AI.
Originally pursuing a BSc in Computer Science and Chemistry at the University of KwaZulu-Natal with the goal of entering the field of computational chemistry, Shivaan later pivoted to data science after discovering his passion for statistical analysis and machine learning.
In his personal time, he enjoys discovering new places, solving puzzles and all things related to food.
